When: 13 Thursdays during term-time starting Thursday 8 Sept Group 1: 9am - 10:30am (Ages 6-11 years) Group 2: 10:45am - 12:15pm (Ages 12+ years) Cost: £91 for 13 sessions (£7 p/session - payable termly in advance) Where: Westacre Theatre, Westacre, KL PE32 1UD We reserve the right to arrange the groups with the best dynamic and suitability in mind. |
These workshops are designed to allow the participants the chance to experiment and explore the world of drama in a relaxed and friendly setting. We do a mixture of both stand-alone sessions featuring different acting games, exercises and activities & rehearsals towards productions.
Previous Home Ed Drama productions have included Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream & Romeo & Juliet, Hotel Paradiso, The Lion, The Witch & the Wardrobe, Bugsy Malone, The Wizard of Oz, Paddington and Treasure Island - together with many original pieces created by the young people. We experiment with all things theatrical including creating stories, scenes, characters and plays using weird and wonderful costumes, hats and props. No pressure to perform - just come along and have fun! |
These sessions are great for building confidence, self-esteem and improving imagination whilst boosting creative & critical thinking skills, developing group & solo work and...having a dramatically good time!
